Finance Manager (Property Investment & REIT)
Own the Financial Discipline Behind a Diverse Property Portfolio
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead finance operations across a portfolio comprising listed REIT assets and investment properties.
This is a hands-on leadership role with accountability for financial reporting, cash flow management, credit control, REIT reporting, compliance, and team performance.
Leading a team of Assistant Managers and Executives, you will be responsible for maintaining strong financial controls, driving collection performance, ensuring reporting accuracy, and supporting sound business decisions through quality financial insights.
What You'll Be Accountable For
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with MFRS, statutory requirements, and internal controls
- Oversee audits, tax matters, and regulatory reporting
- Own Bursa Malaysia and REIT-related reporting deliverables
Cash Flow & Credit Control
- Drive cash flow visibility, forecasting accuracy, and collection performance
- Oversee receivables, tenant arrears, and credit control activities
- Personally manage critical or escalated collection matters
- Partner closely with leasing and property operations teams to improve outcomes
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting exercises
- Review assumptions, analyse variances, and provide management insights
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance and credit control professionals
- Review key deliverables and provide technical guidance
- Drive process improvements, reporting discipline, and operational efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA, ICAEW or equivalent) preferred
- 8-10 years relevant experience in finance, audit, REIT, property investment, or real estate-related environments
- Strong financial reporting, cash flow management, and credit control experience
- Exposure to Bursa Malaysia reporting and REIT compliance is highly desirable
- Proven experience leading and developing finance teams
