About the customer:

The customer is a logistics and supply chain specialist, providing warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment services to businesses across multiple industries focused on FMCG products. They manage a diverse range of products, including consumer goods, electronics, apparel, health & beauty items, and eCommerce merchandise. By leveraging advanced technology, they optimize inventory and distribution processes, ensuring fast, reliable, and scalable solutions for B2B and retail partners. Their office location is located near Canggu, Bali.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance operations and financial processes of the business. This is a hands-on role that combines operational finance, process control, and team management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations and ensure accuracy and adherence to financial processes
  • Manage and mentor the internal finance team and coordinate daily activities with external bookkeepers
  • Prepare monthly management accounts in Xero for CFO review and Board reporting
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation in Xero
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for advanced receipts, accruals, and prepayments
  • Process payroll journals and other monthly journals and reconciliations
  • Produce monthly margin reports and review gross margin performance against budget
  • Monitor aged debtors and creditors, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
  • Track performance versus budget and KPIs, investigating and explaining variances
  • Manage own-brand stock and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting
  • Drive cost control initiatives and identify cost-reduction opportunities
  • Manage weekly and monthly cash flow based on actuals and forecast requirements
  • Ensure accurate purchase ledger processing and maintenance of audit trails within Xero (Hubdoc, invoices, documentation)
  • Ensure strong debtor collection processes and adherence to customer terms and conditions
  • Maintain strong financial systems, controls, policies, and procedures across the business
  • Prepare annual financial reports and act as the main point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
  • Support finance and systems development, with a long-term view toward a fully integrated sales, operations, and finance system
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial investigations and act as a financial control lead for the business.

Requirements:

  • Experienced finance professional (minimum 5 years) with solid hands-on operational finance experience
  • Finance qualification preferred (Accounting, Finance, or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Google Workspace
  • Good IT and systems skills, with an interest in process and system improvement
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy and process discipline
  • Proactive, hands-on, and confident managing both people and external partners.
  • Fluent in English & Bahasa Indonesia.

For this position the salary range is around 20.000.000 - 35.000.000 /month based on experience.
