FINANCE MANAGER

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Financial Accounting
  • Understand the principle of taxation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with other financial systems
  • A proactive, hands-on strategic thinker who in partnership with the - Finance, will take up the responsibility for finance.
  • Familiar with Accurate Accounting is preferred. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Publishing monthly financial statements with analysis to management (direct report to CEO).
  • Having an understanding of Product Cost Structure ( COGS )
  • Reviewing, adjusting and publishing financial statements from the previous two year's period. Working together with internal / external teams.
  • Managing the monthly financial book closing process, including ensuring all revenue earned and costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in Accounting & Finance functions
  • Supervising AP & AR with finance team
  • Ensuring compliance with internal control policies
  • Participating in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes
