About the Role

The Finance Intelligence & Governance intern provides programme coordination and administrative support to the Finance Intelligence Community (FIC) Core Team throughout the June–December 2026 delivery period. The role is designed to give a Finance or Business Administration or IT student hands-on exposure to a structured corporate transformation programme, covering process analytics, governance documentation, and stakeholder management in an insurance finance environment.

This internship is attached to the Finance Intelligence & Governance (FIG) function, which will work closely with the Head of FIG, the Contract Analyst and FIC Core Team, with exposure to senior Finance leadership through Steering Committee preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Calendar & Logistics Management

  • Manage scheduling of all working sessions across Finance & Actuarial functions, including invitations and attendance tracking
  • Prepare attendance lists, pre-read materials, and meeting setup (room/MS Teams)
  • Maintain the Master Governance Calendar covering key meetings and milestones
  • Follow up on action items and flag overdue tasks

Process List Administration

  • Consolidate process submissions into the master template
  • Perform initial quality checks and flag incomplete or duplicate entries
  • Maintain and version-control the master process list post-classification
  • Track submission status across functions

Governance Documentation & Reporting

  • Support preparation of Steering Committee decks (formatting and updates)
  • Take and distribute meeting minutes within 24 hours
  • Prepare bi-weekly SLT updates and progress summaries
  • Maintain Key Deliverables Tracker with updated milestones and ownership

Community Support

  • Prepare agendas and action logs for stakeholder syncs
  • Support ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree programme in Finance, Accounting, IT or related field with minimum at a final year.
  • Academic standing of minimum GPA 3.20 / 4.00.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel – data entry, basic to advance formulas, table formatting, pivot tables, power query and VBA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint – professional document formatting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Outlook for meeting management and communication.
  • Ability to produce clear, well-structured meeting minutes and action logs.
