The Team
The Finance Executive, Accounts Payable will support the Indonesia finance function with day-to-day accounts payable processing, vendor and project billing coordination, and statutory support activities. This role is well suited to a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working across both routine AP processing and broader finance operations, and who is comfortable liaising directly with vendors, auditors, and tax agents in a growing regional office.
How You Will Contribute
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices end-to-end, including verification, coding, and matching against purchase orders/approvals prior to posting.
- Review, upload, and process invoices in the system, and generate related AP reports.
- Prepare payment runs and ensure vendor payments are made accurately and on time.
- Calculate and apply withholding tax (PPh 23) on vendor payments and support generation of e-Bupot documentation.
- Maintain vendor records and perform regular vendor account reconciliations.
- Resolve vendor and internal department queries relating to invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Statutory
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support management of year-end audits.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary on company statutory matters.
- Assist the external tax consultant with VAT (PPN) filing coordination and supporting documentation.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.
Management Support
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and presentation slides, where applicable.
- Participate in year-end accounts closing activities.
- Partner with other business units to collect and analyze data.
- Support the Finance Director on ad-hoc activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting.
- 3-5 years of finance experience, preferably within the services/consulting industry; prior accounts payable experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Indonesian tax and invoicing requirements, including withholding tax (WHT) and e-Faktur, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and working proficiency in English, given regular liaison with local vendors, tax agents, and regional stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task across routine processing and ad-hoc requests.
