Responsibilities
Y Ventures Group is looking for a Finance Data Operations Associate to support accounting and administrative operations for one of our external business partners. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with financial data, bookkeeping support, and digital tools in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data management for accounting and bookkeeping purposes based on bank statements, invoices, receipts, and other supporting documents, including the use of AI-assisted and digital productivity tools where applicable.
- Input figures into financial statements and accounting records accurately and timely.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and source files for reporting and audit purposes.
- Assist with reconciliation and validation of accounting data when required.
- Support administrative and operational tasks related to finance and accounting activities, including process improvements through digital tools and automation support.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of financial information.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify missing or inconsistent financial data.
Note: This role will be employed under Y Ventures Group and assigned to support one of Y Ventures Group's Singapore-based external business partners under a staff placement arrangement, while working fully remotely from Indonesia.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in accounting support, bookkeeping, finance administration, or data management roles is preferred.
- Accounting Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting concepts, financial statements, and bookkeeping processes.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, ABSS, or similar accounting systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data processing with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Soft Skills: Organized, reliable, able to manage repetitive tasks efficiently, and capable of handling confidential information professionally.
