Job Description
Company : Sentra Komunikas Indonesia (SKI)
Location : Jakarta, Indonesia
Employement Status : Full-Time
About the Role
The Finance & Inventory Officer is responsible for managing the company's daily financial transactions, bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliation, and inventory-control activities. The role covers the end-to-end accounting cycle, from recording daily transactions to preparing the balance sheet, financial statements, and simple financial analysis for management.
As an Officer, this position works with greater independence than a staff-level role. The Officer owns the accuracy of financial and inventory records, ensures that month-end closing is completed on time, and provides clear financial information to support management decisions. The inventory scope includes SIM cards, mobile credit or airtime products, IndiHome products, starter packs, vouchers, telecommunications devices, and other telecommunications-related products managed by PT Sentra Komunika Indonesia.
The Finance & Inventory Officer works closely with sales, operations, accounting tax, and other relevant teams to ensure that financial data and inventory records are accurate, complete, timely, and aligned with actual business activities.

- Prepare journal entries using the correct chart of accounts, business unit, cost center, product category, and reporting period.
- Maintain the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, cash book, and bank book so that balances are always up to date.
- Review supporting documents such as invoices, receipts, purchase orders, delivery notes, and payment requests before transactions are recorded.

- Reconcile key balance-sheet accounts, including cash and bank, accounts receivable, inventory, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payable, accrued expenses, and tax accounts.
- Prepare supporting schedules for each balance-sheet account, such as receivable aging, payable aging, inventory valuation, and fixed-asset registers.
- Ensure that inventory balances in the balance sheet agree with stock records and stock-opname results.
- Identify and resolve unreconciled balances, suspense accounts, or misclassified transactions before reports are finalized.
Financial Statement Preparation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement (profit and loss), cash flow statement, and statement of changes in equity.
- Prepare notes and supporting schedules to the financial statements as required by management or auditors.

- Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process and ensure that all transactions are recorded within the correct cut-off period.
- Submit financial statements to the supervisor or management within the agreed closing timeline.
- Provide financial data required for tax reporting, internal audits, and external audits.
Simple Financial Statement Analysis

- Prepare budget-versus-actual comparisons and explain significant variances.

- Reconcile physical inventory, system inventory, sales records, purchase records, and financial records on a routine basis.
- Plan and participate in periodic stock opname at warehouses, offices, branches, outlets, or other inventory locations.
- Investigate stock variances, including shortages, excess stock, damaged products, unrecorded transactions, incorrect product codes, and timing differences.
- Prepare stock-variance reports with supporting evidence, financial impact, and proposed corrective actions.
- Escalate significant or recurring stock discrepancies to management.
