Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance and Accounting Controller located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Finance and Accounting Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial statements, managing financial reporting, and ensuring business control. The individual will also perform various analytical tasks and contribute to the overall financial strategy of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure that financial reports are accurate, timely, and reliable.
- Prepare consolidated reports if the company has subsidiaries.
2.Financial Control
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements.
- Ensure the implementation ofinternal controlsto prevent fraud and errors.
- Conduct variance analysis between budget and actual performance.
3.Accounting Management
- Supervise daily accounting transactions.
- Ensure that all journal entries, bank reconciliations, and tax reports are completed in compliance with regulations.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing process.
4.Financial Analysis and Planning
- Provide profitability, cost, and financial projection analysis.
- Offer strategic recommendations for cost efficiency and financial performance improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in finance/accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Proficiency in Finance-related tasks
- Ability to work on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia
- Experience in the fintech industry is a plus
