Job Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Controller in monthly financial closing and reporting activities.
- Review P&L, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support cost monitoring and basic cost analysis to assist in controlling operating expenses and improving cost visibility.
- Support Indonesian tax compliance and tax audits, including VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with the Shared Service Center (SSC) on accounting, reporting, and transactional matters.
- Liaise with external tax consultants, auditors, and tax authorities under the guidance of the Finance Controller.
- Support internal control processes and follow up on audit findings, tax findings, and internal review points.
- Work closely with internal plant teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, HR) to support finance-related activities and discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; Tax Brevet A & B is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or controlling roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment and/or tax/accounting firm.
- Good understanding of Indonesian taxation (VAT, WHT, CIT); experience supporting tax audits is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment is preferred.
- Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external parties.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a lean team environment.
- Able to work independently with appropriate guidance and supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
