Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Finance & Accounting Staff located in Bali, Indonesia. The Finance & Accounting Staff will be responsible for activities including preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, managing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role will also involve performing detailed financial analyses to support decision-making and preparing reports for management. Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams to manage budgets and financial planning are also key aspects of this role.
Job Scope:
- Perform daily bookkeeping and journal entries for all revenue transactions, including:
- Padel court bookings
- F&B sales
- Other club-related income
- Cross-checking data from multiple POS systems and supporting records
- Record and maintain bookkeeping and journal entries for all expense transactions, ensuring proper documentation and classification
- Act as Person in Charge (PIC) for bank transactions, including payments, transfers, and reconciliation with bank statements
- Compile daily financial and operational reports together with the Club Manager
- Coordinate and work closely with third-party tax consultants to ensure:
- Timely tax payments
- Accurate tax filings
- Compliance with prevailing tax regulations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including:
- Profit & Loss (P&L)
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statement
- Assist in budget planning, in discussion with the Club Manager and Board
- Conduct budget monitoring and expense control, ensuring spending aligns with approved budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is a strong plus
- Proficient in using Accurate accounting software
- Strong understanding of financial statements, including: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with numbers on a daily basis
- Able to work closely with operational teams in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical skills for assessing financial data and providing insights
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of local financial regulations in Indonesia is an advantage
