We're looking for a dedicated and experiencedFinance & Accounting Managerto lead our finance, admin, and general affairs operations. This leadership role supports smooth financial management and operational excellence while nurturing our local team and upholding our mission of sustainable, heartfelt hospitality in one of Bali's most peaceful coastal settings.
Purpose of the Role
TheFinance & Accounting Manageroversees all financial, accounting, and general affairs functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across resort operations. This role provides strategic financial guidance, manages budgets and cash flow, and ensures adherence to Indonesian accounting and tax regulations. It also supports HR and administrative processes while fostering teamwork and clear communication between ourSanurandKubuoffices. Success in this position requires adaptability, patience, and empathy when working with our motivated but locally trained team.
Core Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
Oversee and contribute to day-to-day accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Prepare accurate financial reports and statements.
Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting and tax regulations.
Work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and authorities.
Tax, HR & Administration
Manage all tax obligations (VAT, PPh21, PPh23, PPh25, PPh26, etc.).
Supervise payroll, employee benefits, and HR documentation.
Support and guide the local team with patience and empathy as they continue to grow their skills.
General Affairs & Coordination
Oversee procurement, licenses, permits, insurance, and supplier coordination.
Provide hands-on support to Admin and Accounting staff in Kubu when needed.
Maintain efficient and compliant administrative operations across both locations.
Leadership & Teamwork
Lead and develop the accounting and admin teams.
Foster open communication and teamwork between our Sanur and Kubu offices.
Adapt to our unique working environment and lead with understanding, empathy, and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
46 years of professional accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of PSAK and Indonesian tax regulations.
Proficient in Mekari Jurnal, Coretax, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
Experienced in payroll, HR administration, and general affairs.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in cross-cultural work environments.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel between Sanur and Kubu as needed.
Preferred:
Experience in hospitality or resort operations.
Familiar with Quinos POS and financial system integration.
Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
