The Role

As our Finance Accounting Manager you will be the financial backbone of Alamii, owning the full spectrum of finance operations, reporting, and planning. You'll work closely with the founding team to translate business ambitions into sound financial decisions, and build the systems and team that will take us to the next stage of growth. This is a high impact role for someone who's ready to move beyond execution and step into genuine ownership.

What You'll Own

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Lead the full month-end closing (MEC) process and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Provide analytical commentary on financial performance: variance analysis, trend identification, and actionable insights for leadership

Commercial Finance & Distributor Management

• Own the financial oversight of distributor relationships including trade term structures, rebate calculations, and distributor P&L monitoring
• Partner with the Sales & Commercial team to evaluate channel profitability, pricing decisions, and trade spend effectiveness
• Manage AR for distributor channels: credit limit oversight, collection monitoring, and dispute resolution
• Build and maintain commercial finance frameworks that support sustainable growth through indirect channels

Cash Flow & Working Capital

• Optimise cash flow management, including oversight of AR/AP cycles
• Identify and manage financing needs in coordination with the founding team

Team & Systems Development

• Manage, develop, and grow the Finance & Accounting team
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and tools: bridging current manual workflows toward more scalable solutions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's / CPA / CA / CFA is a strong plus
• 6–10 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting - FMCG, F&B, or Consumer Goods industry strongly preferred
• Minimum 4 years in a managerial or team leadership role
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. Accurate, SAP, or similar); familiarity with ERP implementation is a plus
