Job Description

Purpose of The Role

WWF-Indonesia is an independent national conservation organization that works to conserve biodiversity and promote sustainable natural resource management across Indonesia. In supporting its conservation programs and operational activities, WWF-Indonesia is committed to maintaining strong financial management, accountability, transparency, and compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.

The Finance & Accounting Department plays an important role in ensuring effective financial operations, including payment processing, financial reporting, account reconciliation, document verification, and compliance monitoring. As organizational activities continue to grow and involve multiple projects and locations, additional support is needed to assist the finance team in daily administrative and accounting processes.

Therefore, WWF-Indonesia is opening an opportunity for a Finance & Accounting Intern who will support the Finance team in administrative, accounting, and financial documentation activities while gaining practical experience in financial operations within an international non-governmental organization environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support filing and organizing finance documents, both physical and electronic copies, to ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.
  2. Help prepare documents required for internal and external audit processes.
  3. Coordinate with internal staff regarding document follow-up and administrative requirements.
  4. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and organizational documents.
  5. Perform other finance and accounting support activities as needed by the department.

Qualification

  1. Final-year student or fresh graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  2. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial administration processes.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
  4. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain accuracy in handling documents and data.
  5. Good communication and coordination skills.
  6. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  7. Willing to learn and adapt to a dynamic working environment.
  8. Demonstrates integrity, responsibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
