Fiber Optic Engineer - Placement in Batu Kajang, Kalimantan

As a Fiber Optic Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing fiber optic network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity through installation, testing, commissioning, splicing, and network documentation activities.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Fiber Optic Engineering, Network Infrastructure, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic technology, optical fibers, connector types, and fiber optic cable attenuation calculations.
• Hands-on experience using Fusion Splicers, OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometers), and Optical Power Meters (OPM).
• Proven experience in fiber optic installation, splicing, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in mining site environments.
• Physically and mentally fit to work in demanding operational environments.
• Demonstrates high integrity, accountability, and responsibility.
• Preferably domiciled in East Kalimantan.
• Possession of K3 Working at Height Certification is an advantage.
• Certifications such as FOA (Fiber Optic Association) and CFOT (Certified Fiber Optic Technician) are highly preferred.
