Job Descriptions:
Design Development
- Develop FF&E concepts that complement the overall interior design vision and project objectives.
- Research, select, and specify furniture, lighting, decorative fixtures, fabrics, finishes, artwork, rugs, accessories, and other interior elements.
- Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and presentation boards to communicate design concepts.
- Ensure FF&E selections achieve the desired aesthetic, functionality, and user experience.
Documentation
- Prepare detailed FF&E specifications, schedules, and finish schedules.
- Develop comprehensive design documentation for use by internal teams and project stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of selected products, materials, finishes, dimensions, and technical specifications.
- Update documentation throughout each design phase to reflect project revisions.
Design Coordination
- Coordinate with Interior Designers and Architects to ensure FF&E selections integrate seamlessly with architectural and interior design elements.
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and client presentations.
- Review layouts and drawings to verify appropriate furniture planning and spatial functionality.
- Coordinate with technical design teams to ensure FF&E selections are accurately reflected in project documentation.
Material & Sample Management
- Research new materials, finishes, furniture, and design trends.
- Review and organize material and finish samples for design evaluation and client presentations.
- Ensure selected materials meet project design intent, performance requirements, and applicable standards.
Design Quality Assurance
- Review design documentation for consistency, completeness, and accuracy.
- Support the design team during design development by identifying and resolving FF&E-related design issues.
- Participate in site visits during installation, when required, to verify that installed FF&E aligns with the approved design intent and specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in FF&E design or interior design.
- Experience working on hospitality, residential, or commercial projects ares preferred.
- Strong understanding of furniture design, materials, textiles, and decorative accessories.
- Strong design sensibility with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent visual presentation and design communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Important Note: Applicants must know how to converse in English language (Bahasa Indonesia is a must), as the work environment requires to work in multiple locations/countries.
