What we need:

The data center campus is located at the network-hub area in Jakarta where enterprise and service providers can co-locate computing and networking resource in a world class data center ecosystem. Our data center technician will support the facility manager & engineers for operating and monitoring critical systems in our data center.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems, including electrical, mechanical, building and monitoring and control areas.
• Track and trend operational characteristics.
• Routine equipment checks
• Preventive maintenance execution
• Emergency response (e.g., power failure)
• Work order execution
• Equipment cleaning and upkeep
• Spare parts replacement
• Safety protocol compliance
• Reporting issues and anomalies
• Assisting in shutdown/startup procedures
• Supporting vendor maintenance activities
• Logging maintenance activities
• Participating in training and skill development

The successful candidate:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years experience as journeyman or technician level in a critical environment, or 2 years in mechanical/HVAC, electrical, or a combination of both.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs of equipment, work on platforms/ladders and under raised floors.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, holidays, and on shift-based schedules.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working as M/E technician in data centers or power plants.
• Universal Refrigerant Handler's certification.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with contractors.
