What You Will Experience:
- Establish product testing and evaluation.
- Conduct product value analysis on key categories to maximize revenue and reduce costs.
- Establish TCO and similar profit-enhancing models for key categories.
- Balance local needs with those of the broader organization.
- Establish fit-for-purpose business product and/or service specifications.
- Establish category standardization across the organization.
- Influence decisions at an operational level relating to category selection and application.
- Implement product/category measures and monitor performance.
- Ensure adherence to product/category sustainability and usage discipline.
- Conduct supplier assessments.
- Approve/reject suppliers based on technical capabilities, product characteristics and QA infrastructure.
- Gain buy-in for product/category recommendations.
- Integrate suppliers into product and service evaluation processes.
- Meet with suppliers/customers and agree cost-reduction plans and targets.
- Align supplier and business customer processes.
- Drive awareness of supplier performance requirements with stakeholders.
- Explore developments within supplier markets and new product technologies
- Identify TCO opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and finalize recommendations.
- Sell TCO opportunities and contract to customers/management.
- Plan category change management.
- Develop supplier metrics.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
What is Required:
- Minimum 9 yearsof procurement experience, with at least 4 years specifically in Marketing category especially managing marketing ATL (above the line)
- Proven track record of managing complex Marketing procurement portfolios
- Experience in strategic sourcing of Marketing products
- Deep understanding of marketing market trends and marketing industry
- Expert knowledge of procurement strategies specific to marketing procurement
- Advanced contract negotiation skills for marketing
- Willing to travel for business purposes.
- Willing to be based in Alam Sutera, Serpong
