What You Will Experience:
- Analyse demand data and trends to develop accurate and reliable forecasts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production, inventory, and distribution plans with forecasted demand
- Identify potential supply chain bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies
- Monitor key performance indicators and continuously refine forecasting models
- Lead a team of demand planning professionals and mentor them for professional development
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on supply chain optimisation
What is Required:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a demand planning or supply chain role, preferably from processing industry (e.g. Chemical & Petrochemical - Oil refining, Plastics, Specialty chemicals; Materials - Pulp & Paper, Cement, Glass, Metals; Food & Beverage - Juices, Sauces, Diary & Beer) or FMCG industry.
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (verbal and written) facilitates effective communication across local teams, managements and international partners
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively with various departments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insight
- Proficient in using demand planning and forecasting software
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior staff
