Business Development Manager (Aviation Spare Parts)

Independent Contractor | Salary + Commission Based

Airbay Aviation Services is expanding and is looking for Business Development Managers to support our global growth in the aviation spare parts market.

This is an independent contractor role, ideal for aviation professionals with strong business development skills, industry knowledge, and an established or developing network within airline procurement and technical teams.

Airbay Aviation Services is a global supplier of aviation spare parts, supporting ACMI, Charter, Cargo, and Regional Operators in Indonesia. Our focus is on speed, reliability, and building strong long-term customer relationships.

Role Overview

As a Business Development & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing relationships with airline customers, and actively driving sales within your assigned region.

This role involves frequent communication with airline procurement and technical teams, regular travel, and operating in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and approach airlines aligned with our supported fleet types

  • Promote Airbay Aviation Services aviation spare parts solutions

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with:
  • Procurement teams
  • Technical and logistics departments
  • Airline management and decision-makers

  • Generate, influence, and follow up on sales opportunities and purchase orders
  • Support commercial discussions in coordination with the internal team
  • Conduct meetings both online and in person, including client visits and travel
  • Use the Company's CRM system daily to log all activities, leads, and follow-ups
  • Operate efficiently and decisively in a high-pressure aviation sales environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in aviation sales, business development, or spare parts
  • Strong understanding of airline procurement processes
  • Excellent communication skills (in person, phone, and email)
  • Confident, proactive, and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to work independently as an independent contractor
  • Comfortable with frequent travel
  • Strong discipline in CRM usage and daily reporting

Compensation

  • Salary + commission based
  • Fixed monthly salary agreed case by case, based on experience and role scope

Contract Type

  • Independent Contractor Agreement
  • Long-term cooperation opportunity based on performance
