Job Role

The EXIM Coordinator is a hands-on professional responsible for managing the full lifecycle of shipping documentation and customs compliance in the Surabaya region. This role requires a high degree of independence to handle complex paperwork, resolve shipment issues, and ensure that all international trade activities follow current regulations without the need for constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation Management: Handle the complete end-to-end process for export and import documents to ensure smooth cargo movement.
  • Customs Compliance: Verify all paperwork for accuracy and ensure full alignment with Indonesian customs regulations (PEB/PIB) to avoid delays.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the main point of contact between internal teams, customers, and third-party agencies to synchronize shipping schedules.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor shipment status daily and independently resolve any documentation errors or logistical bottlenecks.
  • Data Tracking: Maintain organized records and use digital tools to provide clear reports on shipment progress and compliance history.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, or related field; PPJK certification is a plus.
  • 2–3 years of experience handling export and import documentation, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs procedures, documentation flows, and international shipping terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using digital dashboards or logistics systems.
  • Able to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and grow into leadership responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and resilient under tight deadlines.
  • Basic English communication skills for coordinating with teams, customers, and third-party agencies.
  • Committed to full-time work at the Surabaya office.
