Job Description

Purpose of the Role

A strategic partner to the Board of Directors, especially the Chief Finance Officer, in ensuring the Company focuses on the right initiatives, and making progress towards its strategic initiatives, goals and objectives effectively and in timely manner.

Accountabilities:

  1. Lead the CFO's or BOD's special projects implementation to address identified issues or targets, deliver the shareholders or regulatory requirements, or seizing market opportunities that are align with the Company's long-term strategic plans.
  2. Translate and communicate the CFO change agenda (including culture transformation) into action plans, disseminate to and work with the respective leaders in delivering the action plans, monitor the progress, exchange feedback with leaders, and make adjustments when necessary to ensure the CFO's change agenda is realized
  3. Support the CFO in their roles by taking over some responsibilities and attending meetings on the CFO behalf, when required, to allow the CFO to focus on the more important and urgent agenda and decision-making process
  4. Provide the CFO and other BOD members with information and analysis to prepare them for important meetings and approvals to ensure effective decision-making process, well-managed communication, collaboration, and good use of information with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Integrate priorities and work plans among the BOD and senior managers to ensure collaborated efforts among them to support the achievement of the company's goals and overall directorate KPIs.
  6. Acting as an extension of CFO to lead consultants or build ad-hoc teams when necessary to ensure timely and quality delivery of the expected deliverables.
  7. Acting as a strategic liaison between executives and key internal or external stakeholders. Beyond administrative support to support in building trust, maintaining relationships, and ensuring effective communication.
  8. Data Collection and Consolidation from multiple sources, systems, and stakeholders to provide analytics and insights.
  9. Dashboard and Report Preparation with executive summaries and management reports including customize reports for different stakeholder groups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, accounting, management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in corporate finance, investment banking, financial technology with large-scale organizations.
  • Experience in mining, heavy industry, energy, manufacturing, or other operationally intensive industries is highly preferred.
  • Proven exposure supporting C-level executives and managing executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in analytics, attention to detail, strategic thinking, leadership and team management, decision making, executive reporting, and business knowledge.
