JOB OVERVIEW
One of our clients is looking for an Events Manager who will be responsible for creating exceptional live and in-person experiences that strengthen community engagement and elevate their brand. This role leads the planning, coordination, and execution of conferences, church events, community activations, and special productions while ensuring every event is delivered with excellence.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive project manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and can confidently coordinate multiple stakeholders, vendors, volunteers, and production teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Planning & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of live events, conferences, worship experiences, and special productions.
- Develop detailed event timelines, production schedules, and execution checklists.
- Coordinate venues, vendors, volunteers, speakers, production teams, and internal departments.
- Ensure every event delivers a high-quality and memorable attendee experience.
Project & Administrative Management
- Manage event communications and provide regular project status updates to leadership.
- Monitor event budgets, timelines, logistics, and deliverables.
- Maintain organized documentation, event assets, passwords, and operational records.
- Complete administrative office workflows and daily operational checklists.
Communications & Collaboration
- Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and event-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with church staff to ensure alignment across all upcoming events.
- Prepare meeting agendas, event reports, and approval documents for leadership review.
Digital Events Promotion
- Coordinate collaborative social media posts across History Makers Church and Bishop Foreman platforms.
- Schedule promotional content during peak engagement periods to maximize organic reach.
- Ensure event messaging remains consistent with the organization's brand guidelines.
MUST-HAVES
- 2+ years of experience in event management, conference planning, or production coordination
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Highly detail-oriented with strong administrative skills
- Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently
- Available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (local time), with occasional on-call availability for events
GREAT-TO-HAVES
- Experience coordinating church, nonprofit, or community events
- Experience working with vendors, volunteers, and production teams
- Social media coordination or event promotion experience
- Familiarity with creative production workflows (stage, AV, worship, or live events)
