Event Technical Director Freelance

Job Descriptions:

1. Collaborate with producers, directors, and crew to design the technical setup for shows.
2. Plan and organize equipment requirements, including cameras, switchers, and networking.
3. Test and configure all technical systems, ensuring seamless integration.
4. Troubleshoot technical problems in real time to avoid broadcast interruptions.
5. Coordinate with IT and engineering teams to maintain equipment functionality.
6. Implement contingency plans for technical failures.
7. Provide detailed reports on technical performance and suggest areas for improvement.
8. Maintain and organize technical equipment for future use.

Job Requirements:

1. Proficiency in video production systems, including switchers, routers, and audio boards.
2. Strong knowledge of broadcast technologies, video standards, and IP-based workflows.
3. Experience with live streaming platforms and encoding software (e.g., OBS, vMix, or equivalent).
4. Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly.
