Job Summary
The Event Production Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of experiential marketing campaigns, brand activations, roadshows, exhibitions, product launches, and other event marketing initiatives. This role acts as the key liaison between clients, internal agency teams, and Event Organizers (EOs)/production partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of event marketing campaigns, brand activations, roadshows, exhibitions, and product launches.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on production and operational matters throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and align closely with clients, Event Organizers (EOs), production houses, vendors, and internal agency teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Translate client briefs and creative concepts into feasible production plans and operational requirements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, quotations, production schedules, and resource allocation.
- Oversee vendor sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and performance management.
- Conduct venue and site assessments to identify production requirements, operational risks, and technical needs.
- Monitor fabrication, installation, logistics, event setup, dismantling, and overall production quality.
- Lead regular project status meetings with clients, EOs, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all deliverables meet agreed timelines, quality standards, and client objectives.
- Manage on-site event operations and troubleshoot issues to ensure successful execution.
- Prepare post-event reports, evaluations, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging event technologies, and best practices in experiential marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, activation agencies, event agencies, or integrated marketing agencies.
- Proven experience handling client-facing projects and coordinating with Event Organizers (EOs), production vendors, and third-party partners.
- Strong understanding of event operations, fabrication, logistics, and activation execution.
- Excellent project management and budget management skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
