Event Marketing and Operation Intern:
Job Description:
Support the Marketing and Operations team in planning, promoting, and executing events. This internship provides hands-on experience in event management, digital marketing, and operational coordination.
Event Marketing Support
- Assist in creating marketing materials (e.g., social media posts, email campaigns, invitations, flyers).
- Help manage event promotions across digital platforms and monitor engagement.
- Curate leads from various marketing events and deliver them to the Business Development team.
- Analyze existing leads to identify the ideal target audiences for re-targeting in upcoming events.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities.
- Support partnership marketing initiatives and sponsorship outreach.
- Assist as marketing customer service by replying to incoming chats from ads marketing channels (Meta, SEO, and SEM).
Event Operations Support
- Assist with event logistics (venue coordination, vendor communication, supplies).
- Help prepare run-downs, checklists, and registration lists.
- Support onsite execution: registration desk, guest handling, stage assistance, and troubleshooting.
- Document events (photos, videos, feedback collection).
Requirements:
- Undergraduate student in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Creative mindset with interest in digital marketing and events.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Google Workspace; basic design skills (Canva/Photoshop) is a plus.
- Willingness to learn, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Able to work flexible hours during events (including evenings/weekends if required).
- Negotiation skill.
