ETL Developer
Job Description
- esign, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines.
- Extract data from databases, APIs, flat files, and other data sources.
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and integration.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Work with data warehouses and ensure data is accurate, consistent, and reliable.
- Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data-related issues.
- Perform data quality checks and investigate data discrepancies.
- Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation for ETL processes, mappings, workflows, and data models.
- Participate in deployment, testing, and production support activities.
- Have experience as ETL Developer/ Data Engineer with 3+ years experience
- Have a great knowledge and proficiency in SQL and NoSQL
- Have a great knowledge and proficiency in python
- Having experience or knowledge related to fuzzy string matching is a plus
- Have experience with cloud platform and/or its services, such as AWS, AWS Glue, RDS, etc
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good technical communication skills for collaboration with data teams and architects
- Proactive in finding solutions and improving system performance
- Accustomed to working in an Agile/Scrum environment
