The Ethics Compliance Associate is an essential position within the Legal Compliance and Regulatory Affairs unit that serves the whole Traveloka Group. He/she will support the Company's business and objectives by being responsible for the ethics compliance programs, projects and initiatives, which includes the establishment of policies, communication and education and investigation of matters.

He/she will be exposed to all countries in the region where Traveloka operates including but not limited to Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and will be required to have interaction with the most senior members of the management in the Company.

This position is part of the Legal Compliance team and will be reporting to the Legal Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Lead. This position will be based in BSD, Tangerang Office.

The scope of responsibilities for the Ethics Compliance Associate is to:

(i) draft and review policies, procedures and guidelines including Code of Conduct;

(ii) provide advice to the business units on ethical conduct and compliance matters;

(iii) perform end-to-end investigations on potential violations, cases, complaints and prepare comprehensive report for the Senior Management;

(iv) handle and organize various reporting channels and to respond to the submission made in timely manner (eg whistleblowing, gift and entertainment, external engagements);

(v) lead and organize trainings, communication and socialization of Code of Conducts and relevant policies;

(vi) work closely with fellow Legal Counsels and other stakeholders from various level of seniorities;

(vii) support the regulatory management efforts by identifying the obligations, analyzing and advising the impact to the stakeholders;

(viii) conduct research and assessments to ensure compliance with various regulations across our markets; and

(ix) support AML/CTF, KYC, KYE, KYP and other required compliance checks as necessary.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Law
  • 4-5 years experience in the Legal or Compliance field with at least 2 years handling Ethics, Code of Conduct, or compliance related
  • Solid understanding of Indonesian corporate laws and regulations
  • Experience in conducting compliance investigations
  • Certification in ethics or compliance matters is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast and very dynamic work environment
  • Strong sense of risk identification and fast to propose quality mitigation effort
  • Willingness to handle multiple tasks and to meet strict deadlines
  • Have a prosocial approach and easily adapting to different stakeholders profile
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is a must
