Estimate Repair & Maintenance Costs: Prepare accurate cost projections for repairs, renovations, and minor construction (MEP, civil, structure, interior). Evaluate Vendor Bids: Analyze and compare contractor/vendor proposals to secure competitive and realistic pricing.
Review Technical Drawings: Interpret architectural and engineering documents to define work scope and cost implications.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQ): Develop detailed lists of materials and work quantities for project plan
You will fit in this job if you:
A Diploma 3 or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in : Hotel, commercial property, or facilities management industry preferred and Handling MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems and Civil renovation projects.
Proficient in reading and interpreting: Cost estimation for Engineering or Construction Project/Quantity Surveyor.
Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and technical specifications
Strong knowledge of Building materials, labor cost structures, engineering systems, and Hotel-specific systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
Familiar with local construction codes, safety regulations, and brand standards
Able to use estimation tools/software such as: Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and AutoCAD (basic reading)
