Our Opportunity

We are seeking a Estimator & Purchasing Supervisor to join our team in Gresik, Indonesia. This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise, client engagement, and project execution. You'll work to manage estimation & purchasing requirements relating to all refurbishment and engineering services work scopes, estimation, reporting, procurement and PRONTO system management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations, estimates, reports, and cost calculations for refurbishment and engineering projects.
  • Manage purchasing activities, including supplier sourcing, quotation requests, and cost control.
  • Process purchase orders, work orders, and maintain ERP (PRONTO) transactions.
  • Coordinate project schedules, delivery status, and expedite critical items.
  • Review customer drawings and technical requirements to support project execution.
  • Manage procurement of materials, parts, and workshop supplies.
  • Support engineering and technical service projects as required.
  • Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be :

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years experience in estimation, purchasing, procurement, or project coordination within manufacturing, mining, or heavy industry environments.
  • The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with conveyor components such as pulleys, idlers, frames, or other fixed plant equipment.
  • Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, andproblem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERPsystems (PRONTO experience will be highly regarded).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
