Plan, implement, and evaluate the company's Environmental Management System, and ensure compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.
Ensure compliance with environmental protection requirements and minimize environmental impacts from plant operations, including air emission control, solid waste and hazardous waste management, energy use, and water consumption and disposal.
Conduct environmental monitoring, inspections, and analysis, as well as monitoring of company facilities and operational areas.
Identify potential sources of pollution and perform periodic environmental risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH/K3L) standards in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.
Ensure chemical safety, proper handling of chemicals, and compliance with chemical-related regulations within the company to control risks of chemical exposure to employees and the environment.
Ensure chemical management compliance with RSL and MRSL, which are standards for restricted substances that may pose risks to human health and the environment.
Responsible for the implementation of Medical Check-Ups (MCU) for new employees and annual MCUs for all employees, including documentation, reporting, and employee health data management.
Responsible for employee health matters and coordination with the in-house clinic regarding cases of employee illness, occupational accidents, traffic accidents, and pregnancy, including reporting and recordkeeping.
Responsible for first aid kits (P3K), readiness of safety equipment, and emergency facilities such as eyewash stations, and coordination with the relevant PICs.
Responsible for monitoring toilet cleanliness, provision of drinking water, and hygiene of meals provided by the company cafeteria.
Conduct HSE/K3L training, induction programs, awareness initiatives, and audits to support compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Environmental Science, or a related field
Strong understanding of environmental management, compliance with environmental regulations, and sustainability
Minimum 1 year of work experience as an HSE Officer, Environmental Officer, or in other relevant roles
Familiar with environmental documents, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
In-depth understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety practices in accordance with local regulations
Mandatory: General AK3 certification issued by the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker)
Able to communicate in English, both written and spoken
Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Willing to work in a manufacturing (factory) environment and conduct site visits as required
