Environmental Data & Documentation: Support ongoing E&S initiatives by managing data, maintaining accurate records, and preparing comprehensive compliance reports.
Waste Segregation Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve waste segregation practices across the site.
Waste Management Flow: Review, map, and optimize the end-to-end waste management workflow to boost efficiency and compliance.
Recycling Feasibility Studies: Help explore, research, and evaluate the feasibility of new recycling and waste reduction initiatives.
Monitoring Activities: Assist the team with routine environmental monitoring activities to track the success and impact of key sustainability projects.
Project Monitoring & Inspections: Support the team by conducting on-site visits to check, track, and monitor the implementation of environmental and sustainability projects.
Requirements:
Active student (S1) from Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field, preferably in semesters 5 to 8.
Willing to follow all program regulations and complete the internship program in full.
Basic understanding of hazardous (B3) & non-hazardous (Non-B3) waste management, wastewater treatment, and environmental management systems (ISO 14001 certification is a plus).
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization software)
Possesses a solid understanding of waste management principles and the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Passionate about sustainability and waste management, with a proactive approach to conducting on-site evaluations.
Strong communication skills.
Able to commit fully to a 6-month internship period
