Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist based in Pekanbaru. The EHS Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing workplace safety programs, conducting health and safety assessments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental and occupational regulations. Key day-to-day activities will include providing safety training, monitoring health and safety practices, and developing risk mitigation strategies to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
• Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards
• Experience in Workplace Safety and conducting Safety Training
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to identify risks and improve safety measures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field
• Certifications in safety and health programs (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively and promote a culture of safety
