PT ALBA Tridi Plastics Recycling Indonesia is a joint venture led by ALBA Group Asia, with a significant investment of approximately US$60 million to establish a greenfield plant in Kendal. This collaboration is dedicated to supporting Indonesia's ambitious goal of achieving near-zero plastic pollution by 2040. The company focuses on leveraging ALBA's technological expertise to recycle PET beverage bottles into high-quality rPET flakes and food-grade rPET pellets. We are committed to contributing to the circular economy and meeting the increasing demand for sustainable solutions in alignment with Indonesia's long-term environmental objectives.

We are looking for a hands-on EHS leader for our plastic recycling plant in Kendal, Central Java, Indonesia. You will be site-based with strong presence on the shopfloor across shifts.

You will lead EHS implementation, support plant operations, and work closely with managers, supervisors, and operators to ensure safety rules are followed in daily work.

• Conduct regular EHS walks on all shifts
• Check work practices, identify risks, and take action on unsafe conditions
• Lead a small EHS team, including an EHS Officer and Paramedic
• Work with production, maintenance, warehouse, and quality teams on safety implementation
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, audits, inspections, and reporting
• Lead incident investigations, near-miss follow-up, and emergency preparedness
• Run safety training, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns
• Coach supervisors and managers on safety leadership and daily EHS implementation
• Support continuous improvement to reduce risk and improve safe production
• Lead both internal and external audit and reporting

• Degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental, Occupational Health, or related field
• EHS qualification is an advantage
• Minimally 8 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, recycling, or heavy industry
• Hands-on, practical, and strong in communication and coaching
• Able to work on site and influence all levels of the plant
• Based in Kendal, Central Java
