The Engineering Supervisor supports the Director of Engineering in overseeing the daily operation of the Engineering Department. This role ensures all resort facilities, equipment, and utilities are properly maintained to provide a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for guests and team members.
- Supervise the daily work of Engineering Technicians.
- Assign and monitor maintenance tasks and work orders.
- Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out as scheduled.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure they are well maintained.
- Monitor the operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and engineering standards.
- Coordinate maintenance work with other departments and external contractors.
- Maintain engineering records, reports, and inventory of tools and spare parts.
- Assist in training and developing the Engineering team.
