Can you combine technical expertise with the leadership required to keep high-volume hospitality operations safe, efficient, and fully operational

Savaya Group is looking for an Engineering professional to support the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our Bali operations. You will work closely with venue leaders, Operations, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Finance, Purchasing, and senior management to maintain buildings, equipment, utilities, and technical systems to a consistently high standard.

This is a hands-on role for an engineering professional who can lead preventative maintenance, respond effectively to operational issues, strengthen technical systems, and support an exceptional guest and team experience.

What You'll Be Doing

You will support the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations across assigned venues, ensuring facilities, equipment, and technical systems operate safely, reliably, and in line with Savaya Group's standards.

You will coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance, respond to breakdowns, monitor utility consumption, and work with operational teams to minimise disruption. You will also support compliance with statutory requirements, workplace safety standards, and relevant technical procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and coordinating preventative, reactive, and scheduled maintenance
• Inspecting buildings, plant rooms, kitchens, guest areas, pools, and technical equipment
• Responding promptly to equipment failures, defects, and operational emergencies
• Maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, water, and mechanical systems
• Monitoring maintenance logs, work orders, response times, and recurring faults
• Working with external contractors, technicians, suppliers, and service providers
• Supporting statutory inspections, permits, certifications, and technical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, fire safety, and environmental standards
• Monitoring energy, water, and utility consumption and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Supporting the maintenance budget, purchasing processes, stock control, and cost management
• Inspecting completed works and ensuring repairs meet required quality standards
• Supporting engineering recruitment, training, scheduling, and team development
• Preparing maintenance reports, capital-expenditure proposals, and operational updates
• Supporting venue openings, renovations, equipment installation, and project handovers
• Working with Operations to maintain a safe, comfortable, and uninterrupted guest experience
  
  

Could This Be You

• Have you worked in engineering, facilities, or maintenance within a hotel, resort, restaurant, beach club, lifestyle venue, or similar hospitality environment
• Do you have practical knowledge of building services, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, pumps, and general maintenance
• Can you organise preventative maintenance while responding calmly and effectively to urgent breakdowns
• Are you confident coordinating internal teams, contractors, and technical suppliers
• Can you manage maintenance priorities while minimising disruption to guests and operations
• Are you experienced in maintaining accurate records, work orders, compliance documents, and technical reports
• Do you understand workplace safety, fire safety, environmental practices, and relevant engineering standards
• Can you identify opportunities to reduce energy use, water consumption, waste, and operating costs
• Are you comfortable supporting renovations, venue openings, equipment installations, or major events
• Can you communicate professionally in English and work effectively with multicultural teams
• Are you prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, or on-call periods when required
