About the role
This is a project management position responsible for overall on-site coordination of construction projects. You will align and drive design, construction, and acceptance phases, serving as the main communication bridge between the site and senior engineering management.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for overall on-site coordination; align and drive the design, construction, and acceptance phases
- Coordinate designers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams; resolve on-site issues promptly
- Work with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials and equipment in line with the construction schedule
- Develop and track project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery
- Oversee on-site construction quality and safety; organize quality acceptance
- Assist in cost control and review on-site quantities
- Serve as the main communication bridge between the site and the Head of Engineering; report progress regularly
- Produce project documentation and decision-support materials
About you
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, MEP, Architecture, or a related field
- 5+ years of project management experience, including 2+ years independently leading medium-to-large projects
- Hotel pre-opening/renovation experience preferred; comparable experience in apartments, residential, or mixed-use developments equally accepted
- Familiar with the construction process; able to coordinate design, procurement, construction, and acceptance
- Skilled in full-cycle control of schedule, cost, quality, and safety
- Familiar with relevant regulations, acceptance standards, and industry norms
- Able to review drawings, contracts, and technical proposals, identify risks, and drive resolution
- Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Gantt charts)
- Strong cross-department and cross-team coordination; able to act as the bridge between the site and senior management
- Supplier negotiation and contract management experience; able to lead a small team and take ownership of results
- Results-oriented, resilient under pressure, logical, with attention to feasibility and auditability
- Good communication and documentation skills; open to travel/on-site assignment (long-term overseas posting required for overseas projects)
- Fluent in Chinese (working language); able to communicate effectively with the Chinese team and headquarters
- Indonesian fluency preferred; English communication skills a plus
