Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineering Manager role based in Tanjung Priok. The Engineering Manager will lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring that manufacturing, product, and systems engineering initiatives are executed effectively and align with business goals. Responsibilities include planning and prioritizing engineering projects, coordinating cross-functional work with production, quality, and supply chain, and overseeing integration of new technologies, equipment, and processes. The role involves monitoring performance metrics, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement for safety, quality, efficiency, and cost. The Engineering Manager will also collaborate with stakeholders on technical decisions, support problem-solving on the factory floor, and contribute to long-term engineering roadmaps and standards.
Qualifications
  • Strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills to guide, mentor, and develop engineering team members while fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Hands-on experience in Software Development and Integration for manufacturing systems, automation, or factory-related applications is preferred.
  • Proven Project Management capabilities, including planning, execution, prioritization, and risk management across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments, ideally in personal care, skincare, or related industries.
  • Ability to work on-site in Tanjung Priok and collaborate closely with production, quality, and operations teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups.
