Job Description

  1. Lead multidisciplinary engineering activities covering process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, control systems, civil, structural, and technical safety disciplines.
  2. Manage engineering support for LNG operations, brownfield modifications, maintenance activities, plant improvements, shutdowns, and capital projects.
  3. Ensure engineering designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documents comply with company standards, project requirements, and applicable codes.
  4. Review and approve engineering deliverables, technical queries, deviations, design changes, equipment specifications, and vendor documentation.
  5. Lead technical assurance, design reviews, constructability reviews, operability reviews, and engineering risk assessments.
  6. Manage the Management of Change process to ensure technical modifications are properly assessed, approved, documented, and implemented.
  7. Provide technical leadership in resolving plant reliability, equipment performance, process safety, asset integrity, and operational issues.
  8. Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, HSE, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and external engineering contractors.
  9. Monitor engineering performance, budgets, schedules, resource requirements, contractor deliverables, and technical risks.
  10. Develop engineering team capability through coaching, competency assessment, performance management, technical knowledge sharing, and succession planning.

Salary: US$5,500 to US$7,000

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Process, or another relevant Engineering discipline.
  2. Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in LNG, oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, offshore, or major process facilities, including at least 5 years in a management role.
  3. Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering, process safety, asset integrity, plant modifications, and recognised international engineering codes and standards.
  4. Demonstrated experience managing engineering contractors, technical assurance processes, operational support, and brownfield or capital projects.
  5. Indonesian citizen with strong leadership, stakeholder-management, Bahasa Indonesia, and English communication skills, and willingness to work at the Tangguh site.
  6. Actual work location: Tangguh LNG Site, Teluk Bintuni Regency, Papua Barat, Indonesia.
