Attend sprint grooming sessions to understand and clarify requirements
Lead sprint planning meetings to assign tasks and mandays (MD) to developers based on priority targets from the product team. MD estimations will be done in consultation with senior members of the division
Ensure tasks are ordered correctly among backend, frontend, mobile, and QA to minimize idle time and maximize productivity during sprints
Lead daily scrum meetings to track progress, address impediments, and support developers in completing tasks on time and with high quality
Escalate issues that require non-technical consideration to the Product Manager
Coordinate deployment activities with QA, Infra, and engineering teams to ensure smooth and successful releases
Update ticket statuses, such as closed or in-progress, at the story level to maintain accurate tracking and reporting
Provide strong technical expertise and guidance to the team, helping solve complex problems and making technical decisions
Mentor and support team members in their professional development
Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including the product team, QA, Infra, and senior management
Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and are completed within the designated timeline
Requirements
Person We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Min. 5 years proven experience as a Engineering Lead, Team Lead, or similar leadership role in software development
Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong engineering knowledge across backend, frontend, and mobile development
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks
Experience with deployment and CI/CD processes
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Experience working in a startup company is preferred
Ability to motivate and inspire team members
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams
