Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Energy Management Programs: Develop and execute energy control coal Power Plant strategies to achieve efficiency and cost-saving goals.
  • Monitor and Analyze Energy Usage: Track consumption data, identify trends, and set KPIs for coal generation performance.
  • Conduct Energy Audits: Perform regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement Energy Control Systems: Manage scheduling, demand response, and integration of MES/BMS technologies.
  • Budget and Procurement Management: Oversee energy-related budgets, forecasting, and sourcing of energy supplies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with facility management, engineering teams, and external vendors.
  • Reporting and Training: Prepare detailed reports on energy performance and provide training to internal stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and national energy regulations and manage incentive programs.
  • Stay Updated on Technology: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance energy efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in energy management or related roles.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include CEM (Certified Energy Manager), EMP, or PEM.
  • Technical Skills:Energy auditing and analysis
  • Familiarity with MES/BMS systems and energy modeling tools
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis
  • Soft Skills:Leadership and team management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations
