Energy & Sustainability Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an Energy & Sustainability Engineer to join our Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Solutions team. The role will be responsible for conducting building energy audits, engineering assessments, and sustainability evaluations to help clients improve operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and achieve sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct building energy audits and technical assessments.
  • Evaluate HVAC, electrical, lighting, water, and other MEP systems.
  • Analyze utility consumption and identify energy-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare energy audit reports and technical recommendations.
  • Support carbon reduction, decarbonization, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist in green building certification projects (LEED, GREENSHIP, EDGE, WELL, etc.).
  • Perform energy, cost savings, and ROI analysis for proposed solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Support project execution and client advisory engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in building engineering, MEP, energy auditing, sustainability consulting, or related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, lighting, and building operations.
  • Experience in analyzing utility and building performance data.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency, sustainability, ESG, or green building concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and technical report writing.
  • Professional certifications such as GREENSHIP, LEED, or EDGE are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Willingness to conduct site visits and building assessments.
