About the Role
As an Elementary English Reading & Writing Tutor at EduALL Rising, you will help students aged 6–13 develop strong foundational and academic English skills through engaging, structured, and student-centered lessons.
You will teach using the EduALL Rising curriculum, which integrates IB PYP and Cambridge learning standards, with a strong focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, critical thinking, and academic writing.
Beyond teaching, you will monitor student progress, provide meaningful and individualized feedback, communicate learning updates with parents, and work closely with the academic team to continuously improve the learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Reading & Writing to students aged 6–13 using the EduALL Rising curriculum, integrating IB PYP and Cambridge learning standards.
- Assess student learning and provide clear, constructive, and individualized feedback.
- Prepare and organize lesson materials and maintain accurate student learning records.
- Communicate professionally with parents and the academic team regarding student progress.
- Participate in tutor training, teaching observations, and quality reviews.
- Collaborate with the academic team to plan lessons, discuss student progress, and ensure consistency in teaching quality and learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, English Literature, Linguistics, Psychology, or a related field, preferably from a reputable university. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Solid understanding of reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and writing instruction.
- Previous experience teaching children is preferred.
- Able to create engaging lessons and support students in developing their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
