Role Description The Elementary School Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Tangerang. This position is responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, guiding classroom activities, and supporting learners academic and social development. Daily tasks include creating and implementing curriculum, assessing learner progress, maintaining records, and providing individualized support where needed. The teacher collaborates with colleagues and school leadership, communicates regularly with families, and participates in staff meetings, training, and school events. The role also involves creating a safe, inclusive classroom environment that aligns with Montessori philosophy and school values.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Teaching and Elementary Education, with experience delivering engaging lessons to young learners.
- Ability to design and implement Curriculum Development and Education plans that support diverse learning needs.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with learners, families, and colleagues in a professional, respectful manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field; Montessori training or certification is an advantage.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills, patience, and a learner-centered approach that promotes inclusion and respect.
- Ability to work on-site in Tangerang, collaborate in a team setting, and adapt to school policies and routines.
- Previous teaching experience in an elementary or Montessori setting is preferred.
