Electrical Planner

Job Description

• Develop, plan, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for electrical equipment to ensure equipment reliability and plant availability.
• Create and manage maintenance work orders, job plans, task lists, and maintenance schedules using SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM).
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Electrical Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, and other related departments to optimize equipment downtime.
• Plan manpower, materials, spare parts, tools, and maintenance duration to support efficient maintenance execution.
• Monitor maintenance backlog and ensure all planned work is executed according to schedule.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Procurement to ensure the availability of spare parts and materials.
• Maintain accurate equipment history, maintenance records, and master data in SAP PM.
• Analyze maintenance data and KPIs to improve maintenance planning, equipment reliability, and work efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance planning activities comply with company procedures and safety standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Planner, Electrical Maintenance Planner, or similar role in a Paper Mill, Board Mill, Pulp Mill, or other continuous process industries.
• Hands-on experience using SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, work order management, and shutdown planning.
• Experience in planning maintenance for electrical equipment such as motors, MCC, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, UPS, and power distribution systems.
• Able to prepare job plans, task lists, BOMs, maintenance notifications, and work orders in SAP PM.
• Able to read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, planning, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
