Some of your duties will include:
- Ensures compliance with all ROI laws/regulation such as certification and inspection of various electrical equipment.
- Develop maintenance standards and guidelines for the LNG facility equipment.
- Develop spare parts purchasing plan for all LNG facility equipment.
- Responsible for electrical condition-based monitoring activity of the LNG facilities including management of contract manpower, scheduling, reporting and follow-up actions.
- Lead Investigation and provide reports and recommend corrective actions for the LNG facility equipment failures and/or damage.
- Lead entry and maintenance of electrical data into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Reviews subcontractors proposals for services/equipment and submit evaluation for decision.
- Ensure technical correspondence, operating history and configuration records are maintained.
- Keeps the Engineering & Support Superintendent informed of plant operating status and equipment problems.
- Provides technical expertise and guidance to management and others inside and outside the company on engineering issues.
- Designs, coordinates, conducts, and evaluates electrical/ projects/ programs/systems, etc e.g., retrofit program, plant performance analysis and review/advise recommended repairs of various electrical components.
- Reviews engineering specifications and drawings, proposing design modifications to improve reliability within cost and other performance requirements.
- Identifies need for and revises procedures to upgrade quality, clarity, and to reflect current technological and operational philosophies.
- Maintains accurate records and submits all required reports in a timely manner.
- Act as Engineering & Support Superintendent as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience do you need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar with at least 5 years of experience in LNG or Oil & Gas facility maintenanc.
- Strong understanding of ROI electrical laws, regulations, certifications, and inspection requirements.
- Proven ability to develop maintenance standards, guidelines, and spare parts planning for electrical systems.
- Experience in condition-based electrical monitoring, including management of manpower, schedules, reporting, and follow-up actions.
- Capability to investigate failures, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Proficiency in CMMS systems, maintaining technical records, operating history, and configuration data.
- Ability to review engineering drawings, evaluate subcontractor proposals, and propose design improvements to enhance reliability.
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing electrical projects, providing technical advisory support, and updating procedures as needed.
- Strong teamwork and leadership competencies including collaboration, decision-making, conflict resolution, and change management, with certifications aligned to AMMAN competency matrix and applicable regulations.
