  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the power plant or hydropower industry.
  • Site experience in power plant projects or service activities is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of generators, excitation systems, control panels, protection devices, switchgear, transformers, and auxiliary systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Strong industry knowledge in the power plant business.
  • Good leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Computer literacy and good organizational skills.

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for electrical systems related to water turbines and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in generators, excitation systems, control panels, protection devices, and auxiliary systems.
  • Assist in testing, commissioning, and recommissioning of electrical equipment during overhauls, retrofits, and modernization projects.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Support site engineers during installation, inspection, and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and analysis of generator and excitation systems, including stability and efficiency assessments.
  • Prepare technical service reports detailing findings, corrective actions, and recommendations after site visits.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams for design clarifications, system improvements, and technical upgrades.
  • Identify requirements for spare parts and provide technical evaluation of components for maintenance or replacement.
  • Ensure all electrical service activities adhere to company procedures, safety standards, and international best practices.
