Overview
The
EHS Senior Officer role tasks in support of processes components for the Occupational & Fire Safety area under general supervision, following global best practices to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of work and escalating problems and roadblocks as they occur. Responsible for ensuring operating requirements, environmental and safety regulations are met to safeguard associates and ensure operational safety
Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for:
- Create, implement, and enforce occupational and fire safety policies, ensuring adherence to PepsiCo Standard and applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards (fire, chemical, electrical, etc.) and recommend controls.
- Conduct training on safety protocols, emergency procedures, proper equipment use, and hazard identification.
- Develop and manage fire protection equipment, evacuation plans, conduct drills, and coordinate emergency responses.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and fires, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures.
- Oversee the maintenance, and regular testing of all safety and fire-suppression equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting).
Qualifications
What you will need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in EHS position
- Working experience in FMCG Manufacturing or Oil and Gas Industry will be preferred
- Minimum hold Bachelor degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Public Health, or Any Engineering Major,
- Have good team work, communication skills, strong decision making abilities, strong analysis and problem solving skills
- Familiar with EHS Management System, SMK3, HIRADC and Fire Safety
- Preferable to hold AK3U & Fire Safety Certification
- Fluent in English and Bahasa (verbal and written)
