Be responsible for managing and implementing all environment, health, and safety (EHS) and sustainability initiatives in Indonesia Operations.
Developing and executing EHS and sustainability strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with local legislation and industry standards.
Be responsible for ESG program in EHS Operations.
Job Responsibilities
Provide systematic and professional EHS guidance to site management teams to set up EHS objectives, targets, programs and support sites to meet EHS targets.
Lead Risk Assessment process and support risk assessment and identification in safety and environmental aspects, including control measures suggestion and follow up.
Collect and identify updates of laws and regulations and analyze deviations to ensure EHS Legal Compliance.
Develop and implement EHS CAPEX project master plan to meet local EHS legislation, KHC safety rules and FM requirement (If needed).
Build a comprehensive environment program that defines, develops, maintains and implements policies and processes that enable consistent, effective and improved environment impacts.
Support sites on incident investigations. Provide expertise on root cause validation and corrective& preventive action development.
Promote and coordinate the sharing of EHS global resources, knowledge, best practices and lessons learned.
Ensure EHS awareness and proficiency in EHS practices is maintained through systematic training for all levels of the site organization.
Develop EHS training program including training needs assessment, training master plan, trainer development, training execution and evaluation.
Keep a solid communication with site management to launch new EHS initiatives and continuously improve Indonesia EHS performance.
Job Requirements
Degree in Environmental and /or Safety Engineering and Management or closely related field
Ideally 10 years of experience in EHS in manufacturing environment
Strong leadership abilities, strategic planning skills, and a thorough understanding of EHS regulations and sustainability practices.
Ability to work under pressure and capacity to handle multiple tasks at same time and rapidly solve problems.
