Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain management system of occupational, health and safety align with ISO45001 requirements and integrate with other system management in plant.
- Develop & ensure health, safety and environment program are implemented in field in accordance with risks & opportunities, organizational context and fulfilment of legal & other requirements.
- Ensure employees receive adequate training & competency related to health & safety and environment.
- Leadership & commitment related to health, safety and environment and conduct coaching and take action against violations.
- Provides technical support to line management with respect to EHS legal and regulatory requirements, permits, etc.
- Advises management on EHS issues to all employees and analyzes audit trends and plant injury trends.
- Functions as advisor and secretary to Environment, Health and Safety Committee.
- Coordinate, make training schedule, training material, conducts training and orientation of the employees regarding EHS matters.
- Provides support to training-in-charge in the identification of training requirements and needs concerning EHS.
- Educates and monitors outside contractors, in-house facilities projects to determine safety practices such as hot-work permits, working at height permit as well as wearing of protective equipment.
- Supports the annual EHS global goals and objectives.
- Do incident prevention activity, conduct incident investigation if any, make incident report and follow up corrective action.
- Supports the conduct of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for all departments (HIRA).
- Assist the Plant/Area in coordinating the EHS teams such as the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Food Safety Team, 5S team, Plant Safety Inspection teams etc.
- Attends to and submits EHS-related requirements of the Corporate and that of the State/Government Agencies, including but not limited to the application and securing/renewal of necessary permits/report.
- Monitors the activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities to ensure compliance with the air, noise and water quality standards.
- Acts as the liaison officer to government agencies and other interested parties on EHS matters.
- Make Coupa if any EHS matters needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree, preferably Engineering Graduate
- At least 3 years in manufacturing, automotive company
- High integrity with good in decision making, result oriented and committed
- Sufficient knowledge regarding EHSS regulatory requirements
- Familiar with EH&S Systems (ISO14001, ISO45001)
- With certification related to EHS is preferred
