Robinsons Department Stores Online is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role will be responsible for coordinating and executing marketing campaigns across the website, marketplaces, and customer communication channels to drive sales, engagement, and brand visibility.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple projects, and works effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Execute end-to-end marketing campaigns across the website, Shopee, Lazada, and other digital sales channels.
- Set up and manage promotional mechanics including vouchers, discounts, bundles, gifts-with-purchase, and campaign offers.
- Maintain and update campaign configurations, pricing, promotional content, banners, and landing pages across digital platforms.
- Conduct campaign testing and quality assurance prior to launch.
- Monitor the health and performance of live promotions, vouchers, and campaign mechanics to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Track campaign validity periods and coordinate timely updates, extensions, or removals where required.
- Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotional events, and ad hoc marketing initiatives.
Omnichannel Campaign Management
- Coordinate campaign assets, messaging, timelines, and implementation across channels.
- Maintain campaign calendars and execution schedules.
- Support key commercial events including Double Digit Campaigns (11.11, 12.12 etc), Payday Sales, Mega Brand Days, and festive campaigns.
- Ensure product visibility, promotional banners, and campaign content are accurately reflected during live campaign periods.
- Work closely with marketplace partners to maximize campaign participation and visibility.
- Collaborate with the Omnichannel Manager to ensure alignment across all customer-facing channels.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Omnichannel Manager to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with the CRM team to ensure campaign requirements, promotional mechanics, and timelines are accurately communicated for customer communications.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for marketplace Key Account Managers (KAMs) to coordinate campaign participation, promotional slots, and platform requirements.
- Liaise with marketplace partners, platform support teams, agencies, and vendors to ensure timely implementation of campaign activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including E-commerce, Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, and Digital Marketing.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track campaign performance across key metrics including sales, traffic, conversion, and promotional effectiveness.
- Prepare campaign reports, post-campaign analyses, and weekly status updates on ongoing and upcoming campaigns.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve future campaign performance.
- Monitor competitor activities, marketplace trends, platform updates, and policy changes, and communicate relevant developments to stakeholders.
Project & Workflow Management
- Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of execution.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues such as pricing discrepancies, voucher errors, content inaccuracies, listing issues, or platform-related challenges.
- Escalate and coordinate issue resolution with internal stakeholders and external platform partners where necessary.
- Use project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or similar platforms to manage priorities and workflows.
- Maintain organized campaign documentation, trackers, and reporting records.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, E-Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Retail, FMCG, or Marketing Agencies.
- Experience managing digital marketing campaigns and promotional activities across multiple channels.
- Experience working with marketplaces, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders is preferred.
- Experience in retail and e-commerce environments is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of e-commerce, digital marketing, marketplace operations, and omnichannel campaign execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with:
- Google Analytics
- Marketplace Seller Centres (Shopee, Lazada, etc.)
- Website content management systems
- Marketing analytics and reporting tools
- Experience using project management platforms such as Trello, Asana, or similar tools.
